The World’s Top 25 Supply Chain Companies for 2024
Schneider Electric, Cisco Systems, and Colgate-Palmolive secured the top three positions.
In the second quarter of 2024, Gartner released its annual Global Supply Chain Top 25 report, showing that the top-performing supply chain organizations continue to be led by industry giants. Schneider Electric retained its top spot, followed by Cisco Systems in second and Colgate-Palmolive in third. Notably, several new companies made significant debuts on the list.
“The supply chain organizations in this year’s Top 25 were notable for better-protecting growth rates in a challenging operating environment, while at the same time delivering more sustainable operations,” said Simon Bailey, VP Analyst at Gartner. “The best supply chains now have ESG criteria firmly embedded in their operations, while delivering higher than average growth rates, better returns on physical assets (ROPA) and stronger margins.”
NVIDIA, Nike, Danone, BMW, Heineken, and JD.com made their debut in the Top 25 Global Supply Chain Companies for 2024. Meanwhile, Tesla led the list of companies that dropped out of the top 25, along with McDonald’s, AB InBev, Alibaba, Dow, and GlaxoSmithKline.
