Jumia Technologies AG (JMIA), Africa’s leading e-commerce platform, recently launched a state-of-the-art integrated warehouse and logistics facility in Tema, Ghana. The newly unveiled warehouse in Tema spans an impressive 6,000 square meters, marking a transformative step in the company’s operations in Ghana. The state-of-the-art facility substantially increases storage capacity, empowering Jumia to manage its ever-expanding product portfolio efficiently. By enhancing its logistics infrastructure, Jumia is better positioned to address the growing needs of Ghanaian customers and deliver a seamless online shopping experience.

Now fully operational, the facility is primed to support Jumia’s highly anticipated Black Friday campaign, running from November 1 to November 30, 2024. This annual sales event serves as a dynamic platform for local businesses to connect with new customers and drive sales, fostering entrepreneurship and contributing to job creation throughout the country.
